Dear Mr Cook
COMPLAINT AGAINST POLICE

I write in response to your recent correspondence with this office about your complaint against police.

Your complaint has now been recorded as a ‘complaint against police’ in accordance with the provisions of the Police (Complaints & Misconduct) Regulations 2020.

My role in dealing with your complaint is to decide how the matter should be dealt with.

Based on the information contained within your correspondence, I have determined that your complaint is suitable to be dealt with at a local police level. Therefore, papers have been forwarded to the Head of Information Manager, who will allocate a member of staff to contact you and endeavour to resolve your complaint.

Yours sincerely
